Meet moslems from other countries.
Tokyo Mosque is more beautiful than most mosques, built with the classical Turkish mosque architecture. It is designed as a bookstore, halal product market, and multi-use hall on the ground floor. Ablution areas are also on the same floor. There is a prayer area on the upper floor. It is a five-minute walk from the subway station.
I had the pleasure of visiting the Tokyo Camii & Diyanet Turkish Culture Center for Jummah Prayer, and it was truly a breathtaking experience. The architecture is stunning, blending intricate details with a serene atmosphere that invites you to pause and reflect. The chandelier and stained glass windows add an unmatched elegance to the prayer hall. The mosque is not only a place of worship but also a hub for cultural exchange and learning, with its warm and welcoming ambiance. Whether you are seeking a moment of peace or wish to explore a slice of Islamic culture in Tokyo, this mosque is a must-visit. Highly recommended for its beauty, tranquility, and cultural significance.
As a muslime, im very happy to see a mosque in a non majority muslim country. The mosque is so beautiful and very very clean. I felt so peaceful entering the mosque. Theres a halal convenience store in the mosque.
Masjid Jamek Tokyo. I would love to venture the beautiful mosque and support the halal mart after performing my solat unfortunately we were given a very limited time there by our travel agent. No telekung is provided for the muslimat so you have to wear proper attire before coming here. The women's wuduk area is on the ground level in the toilet, and after complete your wuduk, you have to walk out finding another area and climbing some stairs to the upstairs prayer hall. Both male and female are praying in the same hall and open for others and the non Muslim tourists to see you perform your solat. The muslimat/ladies have to readily put on their telekung in the toilet after taking wuduk if they don't want the non-mahram seeing their aurat. During weekend, the mosque are very crowded because many visitors including the non Muslims who are interested to know about Islam visiting and attending classes about the religion.
