A very nice and tranquil park.
We were unlucky in that when we visited all the ponds were under renovation, so they were closed.
Otherwise the park is nice and vast, you'll see lots of people jogging and biking, also school children with their teachers.
Can also get a stamp at the information desk
Edit: we also visited the night market which was a limited event at the time we were there, it was south of the park, unfortunately that wasn't advertised clearly so it took us forever to find it. It wa nice experience but it was all food options, no stalls selling anything like souvenirs or clothes.
Yoyogi Park is always worth a visit. Located centrally, a visit can be combined with other local sites such as the metropolitan building observation deck. The Meiji Jingu Shrine is always quite busy, but there are always paths that are not as busy as the main path and help you enjoy the park even more if you want a bit more quiet space.
A sizable park with a great number of features, including a dog park, biking, a fountain (currently undergoing renovation), picnic areas, flowers, and more. It's always fun to go from mass urbanization into such a serene piece of nature, which is exactly what a park should strive for! If you visit Meiji Shrine, be sure to drop by.
Great open park with a lot of places to chill out and relax on grass and play games. Adjacent to park there is a very interesting Shinto Shrine.
The park is thoughtfully equipped with multiple toilets and an abundance of benches, ensuring comfort for all visitors.
A huge city park near Shibuya and Harajuku. Some locals come here for jogging, and the path are pretty shady due to many big trees. There seems to be a special gated area for dogs.
We found a small patch of garden with many beautiful flowers (early May 2024). There is another garden near the Olympic Memorial House.
Overall is a great escape from the city to enjoy some greenery, relaxation or walking.
