What other travelers are saying about Nokonoshima Island Park

It was a great day at the park! Beautiful views and cute animals :) I would probably recommend going during Spring more, as, despite there being some flowers, the actual flower fields weren’t in bloom. So, a visit during late August may not be 100% be worth the price. Still enjoyed my time there a lot!

Probabaly one of my favorite places in Japan. I was only able to come for the last hour so please plan your trip accordingly! Look at the ferry schedule (every hour) and the bus schedule on the island. Very picturesque just like out of a ghibli movie

You need to take a ferry from Meinohama Terminal to get to the island. The island itself is beautiful and peaceful. While there's a bus available, I recommend using a car for easier access. There are some hidden beaches to explore and a lovely flower park where you can pick a sunflower for free.
