Visited last month. Unfortunately, didn't know that the fountain show was canceled while they were doing construction.
Layout of the mall is quite confusing.
Canal City Hakata is a complex shopping mall with a Venetian canal concept. You can see fountain shows every hour during the day from
10 AM to 10 PM, and every 30 minutes at night.
There is a One Piece, Hello Kitty goods shop, and Bandai shop on the basement floor, and there is a shopping mall called La Festa that has a Totoro goods store and an instant ramen shop.
There are also various restaurants, especially the ramen restaurants at Ramen Stadium on the 5th floor. Famous ramen chains representing each region of Japan, including Ichiran, have opened branches here.
Nam June Paik’s video art piece ‘Fuku/Luck, Fuku=Luck, Matrix’ is on display inside the shopping mall.
I absolutely love the short time visiting this mall due to its diverse range of stores.
The Nitori store is a standout, offering a fantastic selection of home goods that are both stylish and practical.
For those interested in sports and outdoor activities, the mall boasts a variety of stores stocked with clothing and camping gear, ensuring you have everything you need for your adventures.
Food lovers will appreciate the dining options available here. On a lower floor, you'll find an Ichiran restaurant, perfect for a quick and delicious meal. Additionally, there is an entire floor dedicated to ramen, providing a plethora of choices for ramen enthusiasts.
Whether you're shopping or dining, this mall offers a great experience for everyone.
Had a great day visiting this mall. The Alpine Golf store is fully stocked with the latest in golf. We were fortunate enough to join their Canal City Welcome Week promo, which with a minimum spend of ¥10000, gets you a ¥500 coupon and voucher for the Taito claw machine arcade. Had a great time playing at the arcade. Many attempts made and finally got to win a prize.
