What other travelers are saying about Sapporo Snow Festival
While we stayed in Sapporo we went to Odori Park several times. It was our favourite thing. During Christmas period there is a German markets on and it was so amazing. It's freezing and the road is slippery and dangerous but no regrets!
Odori Park is around the busiest part of Sapporo. So pretty and often has events around the park during particular holidays and in certain months.
Lovely spot for a nice stroll. The public toilets at the park are also decently clean.
Very beautiful when I was here in May. Very easily reached by metro, as it is located in the city center. All kinds of flowers were blooming. The park is large and it takes roughly twenty minutes to walk along. The sculpture is beautiful as well.
Odori Park is a great place to relax, especially if you have kids who can freely run around and enjoy the open space. The park offers a view of the iconic Sapporo Clock Tower, adding to its charm. Throughout the year, various events and festivals are held here, making it a lively spot to visit. Whether you're looking to unwind, take in the sights, or join in on the local festivities, Odori Park has something for everyone.
Arrived at Sapporo Station on the morning of Wednesday 19th 2024, after depositing my luggage at the hotel, I went straight to the park as I heard it is the city's landmark. It definitely didn't disappoint me. There were plenty of attractions to see and it was lively with people. Great place to start Sapporo tour.
