What other travelers are saying about Nakajima Park
Directly accessible from Nakajima Koen Station, this is one of the best parks I’ve visited in autumn. It’s peaceful and pleasant to walk around, with public toilets available. Beautiful trees surround the lake, and there’s a coffee stall called Smooch Coffee in a vintage van. Grab a coffee and a Hokkaido cookie to enjoy by the lake in the cool weather. Rubbish bins are hard to find, so please keep your trash with you until you find one.
Beautiful park set around a pond. The park has a children's playground, seating, artwork , toilets and a small observatory. The observatory is free to visit.
The park is easily accessed on foot or by public transport, there is a subway station there.
Nice quaint park to take a stroll through. There is the option to rent boats to paddle through the Iris pond, and a small vendors for coffee and ice cream nearby. The foliage is beautiful.
The best park I’ve ever visited so far!!!!
There were many interesting places inside it. Museum, shrine, lake(?), concert hall and even sport facilities!!! Oh, also there’s an obstervatory, that time I could look SUN!!!!
The sakura bloom forecast or info provided by the hotel not really accurate. Most had been fallen. Not sure if due to the bad weather yesterday.
The park itself is good to chill. Locals for sketching, event gathering, also kindergarten excursion here.
Note the toilet behind the observation only provide originally japanese style without toilet paper. Didn't check out the others.
