Sumo Tournament Viewing

  • Specific seat locations cannot be selected, only the seat class

  • Children under 3 can sit on a guardian’s lap, while those 4 and older need a ticket

  • The venue is not wheelchair accessible, and no assistance is available

  • Re-entry is allowed only once during the event

  • Eating is permitted in the seating area, but outside food and drinks are not allowed

Important Booking Information

  • Arrive at least 10 minutes before the tour starts, late arrivals will lose their reservation

  • The venue has no elevators, and guests must use steep stairs

  • Binoculars or a portable radio are recommended for a better viewing experience

  • Lost tickets cannot be replaced or reissued

  • Large luggage and suitcases are not allowed in the seating area

  • Phones must be set to silent, and banners should not obstruct others’ views

  • Throwing cushions is strictly prohibited for safety reasons

  • Walk to Kinshicho Station → Take JR Sobu Line (towards Shinjuku) → Get off at JR Ryogoku Station → Walk to Ryogoku Kokugikan (1 min)

  • Walk to Kikukawa Station → Take Toei Oedo Line (towards Ryogoku) → Get off at Ryogoku Station → Walk to Ryogoku Kokugikan (5 min)

By Bus (Approx. 15 min)

  • Take a Toei Bus from nearby stops (Tatekawa 3-chome → Tatekawa 2-chome → Tatekawa) → Get off at Ryogoku Eki-mae → Walk to Ryogoku Kokugikan

On Foot (Approx. 25 min)

  • Walk directly from Yokozuna Dosukoi Tanaka to Ryogoku Kokugikan
