Can anyone drive a Street Kart?

Yes. If you regularly drive a car and have a valid license for driving on Japanese roads, you can drive a Street Kart. Mopeds or motorcycle licenses are not accepted.

Is insurance included?

Yes. Standard insurance is included in the tour fee, but you are responsible for the deductible if the kart is damaged due to rough driving, bumps, scratches, or accidents.

Can I buy additional insurance coverage?

Yes. A full coverage insurance plan is available for an additional fee, offering wider protection including unlimited coverage for bodily injury, property damage, and kart damage.

Are there go-karts that seat more than one person?

No. All Street Karts are single-seat and do not support more than one passenger at a time.

Do the tours go on highways or expressways?

No. Tours do not include expressways or highways. They use public roads suitable for the Street Kart experience.

Is photography allowed during the tour?

Yes. You may take photos during the experience, but photography is not permitted while driving for safety reasons. Photo data from the tour is provided afterward.

Experience Details

This is a public road go-kart driving experience in Okinawa.
You will drive on actual city streets, not a closed circuit.
A safety briefing is provided before departure.
Please wear appropriate clothing (no heels, sandals, or long skirts).
Lockers are available for personal belongings.

Additional Purchases

Optional full coverage insurance is available for an additional fee.
Damage to the kart may be subject to a deductible under the standard insurance plan.
Optional action camera rentals may be available at extra cost.

Transportation & Transfers

Transportation to and from the shop is not included.
Guests must arrange their own travel to the meeting location.

Accessibility & Eligibility

Drivers must meet the minimum legal driving age in Japan.
Participants must be physically able to operate a vehicle safely.
Pregnant guests are not permitted to participate.

Driver’s License Requirements

You must present a valid driving permit that is accepted in Japan on the day of the tour.
If you hold a driver’s license from Switzerland, Germany, France, Belgium, Monaco, or Taiwan, you must present your valid local driver’s license, an authorized Japanese translation, and your passport.
If you are using an International Driving Permit (IDP), it must be issued under the 1949 Geneva Convention, and you must present your IDP, your valid local driver’s license, and your passport.
International Driving Permits cannot be issued in Japan and must be obtained in your home country before arriving in Japan.
If you are a U.S. Armed Forces member or family member under SOFA status, you must present your U.S. SOFA (USFJ 4EJ) or Military Driving License, your valid U.S. state driver’s license, and your U.S. DoD or Military ID.
Failure to present all required documents will result in denial of participation without refund.
