The Ikebana Experience tour in Kyoto offers a unique opportunity to learn the traditional Japanese art of flower arranging in the comfort of a local teacher's home. The class is perfect for beginners and requires no prior experience or equipment. All materials, including flowers, will be provided for you. The tour is designed to be accessible for everyone, from wheelchair and stroller accessibility to service animals allowed and near public transportation.
We really enjoyed this experience. Ikebana arrangements were everywhere throughout Japan, so it was lovely to do a class to learn a little about this artform and to experience this part of Japanese culture firsthand.
