Frequently asked questions
The tour fee includes a tour guide, an explanation of Japanese history and culture, and the bus fee between Hirayu and Kamikochi. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are not included.
You should bring comfortable hiking shoes, extra clothing for cooler temperatures, and rain gear if necessary.
Cancellations made 10-8 days before the tour will incur a 20% fee, 7-2 days prior a 30% fee, 24 hours prior a 40% fee, and within 24 hours or no-shows will result in a 50% fee. If the tour is cancelled due to weather, the full fee will be refunded.
The tour is not recommended for pregnant travellers or those with heart conditions.
The winter season fee is 30000 yen per person for 2 or more people.
