Outstanding authentic Sumo Experience with genuine wrestlers in an actual trading stable
Well organized small group tour with easy pickup at the train station. Taken to actual Sumo stable for the experience with 2 retired wrestlers, I'll call them medium 260lbs and large 325lbs. They were great at teaching the moves. Training all the guests, and grappling with all the guests. My wife declined but everyone had a match with the wrestlers who would accommodate each guest according to their age and physical ability. It was quite the workout in authentic Sumo garb. Then chicken hot pot and rice lunch with the wrestlers, we learned all about them and they were genuinely interested in us. Free Tshirt and handprint souvenir to cap off the tour. Then back to the station where our guide helped navigate us to the right train. Best tour in Japan by far.
