What other travelers are saying about Tokyo Dome City
Going to a baseball game is simply a must-do experience in Japan. This was such a great way to spend my second-to-last night of my trip. Just so much fun. The food options made my jaw drop. I got a mango highball, katsu cutlet, crepe, beer, and karage chicken. For all of that plus the cost of the ticket, I spent just about $50........this is how a country SHOULD be!!! Made my heart break for America!
Came here for the limited time Kaiju No. 8 exhibit and of you're a fan of the show I highly recommend coming here. Staff were very nice and spoke enough English to get me a ticket on site. You can get tickets online as well but those seem to require a Japanese phone number. There's also a food court next door with some cool anime related dishes that I did not indulge in.
There are many things for amusement such as the ferry wheel, water boat, haunted house, roller coaster 🎢... It's better to buy a one day pass which costs around 4000 yen and enjoy the day with friends or family. You can go shopping here. Daiso is also there and this place is near the train station.
Went to watch Giants vs Baystars playoffs. What an atmosphere. The Japanese fans are in a another level. The stadium in itself looks very modern and clean, and there are different stands selling food and drinks at reasonable prices !
Forget hotdogs! At a Tokyo baseball game, I’m munching on takoyaki—delicious fried octopus balls topped with sauce, mayo, and seaweed. Only in Japan could baseball food be this fancy!
