What other travelers are saying about Tokyo DisneySea
It was a great experience. There's many rides and little food spots. There was a marching band, night show, and a little performance. If you want to get on the more popular rides, I recommend getting a priority pass to get through the line quicker. Some of the waits were up to 80 to 100 minutes long. Had a lot of fun.
FOOD. RIDES. EVENTS. This has been the best Disney visit I have ever had. Be sure to book ride appointments as soon as you enter the park and reserve Dinning a month in advance. This made my visit the most effective. Food was worth the early bookings and reserving rides as soon as I entered helped me ride everything in one day. Prepare and enjoy!
Also!!! Be sure to get there early! I was near the front but even an hour before opening it was packed. Earlier the better. Find a spot. Lay a mat. And sit patiently. You will be happy you did!
We enjoyed our relaxed experience at Disney Sea.
The park’s European-themed areas liked Mediterranean Harbor and Venice-inspired canals offered a beautiful, immersive atmosphere.
As aging adults, we chose to do a boat ride, a electric train ride and The Leonardo Challenge. Perfect amount of activities and excitement for us.
One of the unexpected joys was casually running into Disney characters throughout the park. We took some fun photos to preserve these spontaneous moments.
With fantastic architecture and romantic vibe, DisneySea felt more liked a charming escape than a typical theme park.
Would recommend.
I’d recommend getting there early that way you can buy the fast passes. The wait times for each ride was fairly long but buying each pass was worth it because we didn’t have to wait in line and you got to explore the scenery.
We were able to hit pretty much every ride with the fast passes and even stay to watch the sea of dreams water show.
My favorite part was actually being able to go inside and actually explore the castle
Maybe I’m getting too old for theme parks lol but it was just alright, rides were okay but nothing extraordinary. I think the overtourism is what’s killing the vibe for me, it was waaaaay too crowded for a regular Tuesday near the end of April when it shouldn’t even be peak season (like Golden Week). Used to visit here every year from 2016-2019 before Covid and enjoyed my experience so Japan definitely’s changed quite a bit and sadly not for the better :( The food was pretty good though, tried all churro flavors and my fave was the chai in Aladdin & the OG cinnamon, had the burgers at Snuggly Duckling (both were good but shrimp was better imo). No thrilling rides, very kid friendly and slow paced but expect to wait atleast 70-150 mins for the rides
