A theme park and zoo combined. It's very large and closes quite early. Highly recommended to come as early as possible, and on weekday to be able to ride all the rides and still have time to look at the animals. Easily a 12,000~15,000 steps for the whole day.
If you go by train and bus, you will enter and exit from the East Gate. Which means you will start with teen/adult area of rides. It has separate areas for toddlers as well in the middle, and then the zoo area until the West Gate. Some animals are stopped being exhibited at 15:00. So plan accordingly.
The animal quite varies, and of course the white tiger takes the main spot. They also have petting zoos where you can touch and pet guinea pigs, dogs, and cats.
You can get a package ticket from major Tobu stations. It includes train and bus fares both ways, and the entrance ticket itself. Separate ticket is required to get an "attraction pass" with which is essentially an all-you-can ride ticket instead of paying for each rides. If you buy the aforementioned package ticket before, showing that can give you 500yen discount on the attraction pass.
Such a fun place for families, especially kids. Kids get to feed some of the animals. The rides were fun too! If it gets too cold outside, there are indoor arcade games too. The lights are night were really beautiful!
The experience was truly enjoyable, as I participated in nearly all the rides. It was remarkable, and the venue was also quite clean. I recommend bringing companions rather than visiting alone, as this will enhance the overall excitement.
Good to see with your kid's and family members ☺️
Best to buy food from super market 😉
