We visited this shopping street and found there is a nice variety of shops selling snacks, apparel, souvenirs and food. Most of it is covered although there are more shops to the side of the street. It was interesting to walk here, browse the shops and have some snacks.

Endless shopping streets right next to Nishiki market. A lot less touristy than Nishiki and really worth allocating time here to check out the many interesting shops. Love the clams ramen at the end of one of the streets.

Covered shppping street housing fashion retails, food putlets as much more. This place seems to always be abuzz with activities along the long stretch of walkways that are joint by several wings. Just walking and browsing here will eat up your time in no time!

I like how a lot of the shopping streets in Japan are covered for the convenience of the shoppers. This street is near to the more popular Nishiki Market but it is a nice change from Nishiki as the alley is wider, brighter and less crowded. There is a nice variety of shops here from clothing stores to fast foods. Shinkyogoku is another shopping arcade which runs parallel to Teramachi street.
