What other travelers are saying about Nayoro Piyashiri
Great small resort with consistent good powder only 3 lifts but enough variety to keep most skier or snowboarder entertained. There's usally 2 to 3 dedicated jumps to get big air. And plenty of lodge space to warm up and rest. The onsen in the hotel next-door is nice way to end the day on the slopes
It feels like a ski resort where local skiers go, and the snow quality is good, and the course is full of great long turns and bumps that don't make you feel like there are too many lifts.
There may be more Self-Defense Forces than anywhere near Asahikawa.
The barn is spacious and the pistons are beautiful.
There is also an off-piste area, which would be nice if it snowed.
One lift wasn't working, so traversing was a hassle.
The slopes are a bit rough in the afternoon, but there are fewer people and it becomes more slippery.
I would like a 4 hour ticket.
