The Sapporo Mountain Moiwa Ropeway is not just a means of transportation; it's a gateway to a winter wonderland. As you glide through the air in the cozy gondolas, you'll be treated to panoramic views of Sapporo blanketed in white. It's an experience that truly captures the magic of Hokkaido's snowy paradise.
I admit that I came here to see the view of Sapporo. I went at the evening and the view was amazing. It was really cold as it snowed briefly in the day. There was ice and snow on the ground.
It take two cable cars to get to the top. The first cable car was smooth but the second was kind of rocky. Just to let you know if you choose to go to the top.
I do implore you to go as the view is spectacular.
Be cognizant of the time the cable cars arrive if you have to be down from the mountain to meet your ride.
