What other travelers are saying about Inokashira Park
❇️ Inokashira Park 恩赐公园
---------------------------------------
🌳🌿🍁 - It was about 5.30pm when we reached Inokashira Park. 🟨 By then, the skies in Tokyo had become a solemn grey, and it was much too dim for me to take any nice photos at all.
😘So we just strolled around the park, and take in the cool 16°degs Celsius autumnal air. As it grew even darker by 6pm, we saw people arriving at the park with their pet dogs and there were many joggers around too.
- The atmosphere here at Kichijoji area was a tad more relaxed than the central Shinjuku area. ✅️💙 Here, it seems more family-friendly. ● Mothers were out with their kids, young courting couples strolled about, elderly people strolled in groups, chatting and laughing in glee....it was a beautiful chilly autumnal day here in Tokyo.💜
● Kichijoji station area: ✔️ We walked around this neighbourhood after visiting Inokashira Goen (park). ✳️ The park is directly connected to the shopping districts you see.
➡️ It is a fashionable shopping area that appeals to younger people, with lots of coffee cafes and indie shops.
Beautiful scenic park. We had our Totoro puffs here before we visited the Ghibli Museum nearby! The park is very peaceful and has many seats. Perfect for picnic.
The toilet isn’t well maintained though because of the outdoors so I didn’t use it 😂
Luscious green space with many recreational facilities - zoo, aquarium, paddling on a lake in a swan boat, jogging /walking track, sculpture museum, Ghibli Museum. One can also visit the temple dedicated to Benzaiten and take photos of Kanzeon Statue.
Lovely park with a zoo, pond, temple on the way from the train to Ghibli museum, making the walk feeling going into one of the Ghibli movies...
There is a temple but I found out the goddess by legend is not couple friendly so you might not want to pray for love there...success and money ia okay
Very chill park. When i visited it was very sparsely populated, but definitely would be busy during more popular times. Fairly large park, with plenty of vending machines and shops for foods. There is a large pond in the middle, with rental boats. Lots of benches. Known among my bird watching friends for owls (in the right season). It’s surrounded by a dense forest, and a large portion of the park is occupied by a zoo. Definitely would recommend for people looking for a good park who don’t have the money or time to go all the way to Kasai.
