Traveler reviews

Good to add on your day trip through Nanjo! The site as water views. On the paths is more parts of the castle. I would suggest wearing boots since the pavement ends and becomes grass. Bring bug spray Free. Parking is across the entrance from the ruins. No vending machines or bathrooms.

This was a neat place to visit. I wish the signs were updated a little better. We took a path that went to a farm. It was interesting.
Great historic site to visit. This time the site has been well maintained, all overgrown grass and plants has been removed. Follow Chinen bus stop sign to make your turn into a small alley, along the way you will encounter a spring, which is associated with Chinen's history.
This castle's walls have been partially reconstructed. There is no fee to get in, there are some old small shrines, and tons of bugs. there are no fees or registration to get in parking is across the street from a sign which will lead you down the road to get to the castle. There are no attendance or anything like that, and there's not much information so when you are there it is up to you to respect the land and history.
There's a nice view, but the ruins themselves are not that interesting. I visited as I happened to be at a nearby restaurant. It's not really worth making a trip just to see here.
