No. 1 Cherry Blossoms spot in Kyushu. It is nearly 400 years old, stands 14m tall, has 21.3m east-west branches, 26m north-south branches, and a 7.35m trunk circumference. It bears flowers that are pale pink. The cherry blossoms are bordered by rape blossom fields, and the flowering season is nearly the same as that of cherry blossoms, so you can enjoy both the cherry blossoms and the rape blossoms.

Stop At: Kumamoto Castle. 14:00 PM (lunch time included)
Kumamoto Castle is a Japanese castle constructed from the Azuchi-Momoyama period to the Edo period in Kumamoto, Akita-gun, Higo Province. Ginkgo Castle is another name for it. Kiyomasa Kato bought and renovated the medieval castle. It was the residence of the Kumamoto domain's Hosokawa clan from Mr. Kato's reform until the end of the Edo era. During the Meiji period, it was the site of the Satsuma Rebellion.
