What other travelers are saying about Shiroi Koibito Park (Chocolate Factory)
Such a cute place! Many photo taking aesthetic spots in and outside the park with places to put your phone on to take joint photos without needing to ask someone. We paid for the extra admission but I don't think it's necessary if you just want to purchase some stuff and look around. The ice cream is great and the gift shops/restaurants have lots of goods. A good way to spend 2-3 hours :)
They have added more new outdoor attractions to this indoor museum since it's opening! Very family and kids friendly. For the best views, head to the 2nd floor cafe and opt for the window seats.
Be sure to try the newly launched parfait, milk pudding and cream puff!
Considering there's a paid portion of the tour, there's a good amount to see and experience for free. The location itself is beautiful, with some shows, activities and places to shop and eat. Definitely recommend for a family visit, also a great place for buying souvenir gifts for family and friends
The place is meticulously built. Would be great in winter. The history and origin of the biscuits are awesome to go through. Great care was taken to build the place into a magical experience.
The kids went through the biscuit decoration workshop and enjoyed it thoroughly. There was also an XL version of the biscuit that is exclusively found there. Check it out!
You can't miss this park when you're in Sapporo! You can easily reach it by taking the metro line and walking for about 10 minutes. Upon arrival, you will receive white chocolate biscuits. Inside, there are restaurants that I highly recommend, as well as exhibitions, a chocolate factory, and gift shops. I suggest buying souvenirs here rather than at the airport.
