Your exclusive Hakone tour begins with a pickup from your hotel in Tokyo. You'll then board the bullet train heading towards Odawara Station, before transferring to a local train to reach the hot springs town of Hakone-Yumoto. You'll experience the beauty of art and nature at the Open Air Museum, reached by a cable car journey through the mountains.

Next, we'll visit Owakudani, a hellish valley with sulphurous fumes, where you'll have the chance to try the legendary black egg, said to add seven years to your life. We'll then take a boat ride on Lake Ashi, learning about the mystical creature and the work of Hokusai, the renowned artist inspired by Mt. Fuji and the lake. Fun way to see lots of sites with a great guide!

This was a great tour and Yasu was so down to earth and fun. He knew a lot about the places we visited, he had little tricks to get us some great photos without having to stand in long lines, and one of our favorite parts of the day was actually sitting at lunch chatting! The tour itself offered some really fun ways to see some very interesting areas. Trains, cable cars, ropeway, and a really cool tour boat!

Hakone Trip with Paiva

This is our first time to Tokyo and Paiva was very friendly, helpful and informative. She got along well with my 2 children and was flexible in making the necessary arrangements to suit our needs. She is meticulous in her planning and genuine in her interaction and care for us. We enjoyed the experience to the Hakone Shrine, Lake Ashi, Okuwadani via Bullet train, ship. Ropeway and Cable Car. It was a memorable experience thanks to Paiva. ❤️
