This tour takes you on a three-day journey through the Shimane and Hiroshima prefectures in Japan, visiting various historical and cultural sites. On the first day, you will visit the Iwami Ginzan World Heritage Center, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the largest silver mines in Japan during the 16th century. You will also stop at the Shinjiko Service Area for a taste of freshwater clam soup and end the day at Kaike Onsen, a hot spring resort. The second day includes a stroll through the atmospheric Tonomachi-dori Street, a traditional merchant district with working sake breweries and sweet shops, as well as a visit to the Iwami Ginzan World Heritage Center and a restaurant near Sakaiminato known for its delicious Matsuba crab. On the third day, you will visit the iconic Matsue Castle, also known as the "black castle" or "plover castle", one of the few remaining medieval castles in Japan. You will also pay a visit to the prestigious Izumo Taisha shrine, where Japanese gods gather, and Hiroshima Miyoshi Winery, where you can sample local wines and find souvenirs. The tour concludes with a drop-off at Hiroshima Station.
