What other travelers are saying about Tower Sky Garden
The day view and night view of Yokohama is so pretty! Exceeded my expectation. Even prettier than skytree in Tokyo. We saw the sunset and a bit of Fuji mountain (part of it was in the clouds). Not too crowded, a lot of seats for people to sit and rest. They were having a Doraemon exhibit and it was fun to collect the stamps. The shop sells nice souvenirs and postcards, and even sells stamps. It was very well designed overall.
Definitely worth going here! Views from the Sky Garden are very good, and it gives you multiple angles too. View looking down onto the World Porters area is fantastic. If weather is good and earlier in the day, can kinda see Mt Fuji from one angle too.
I really enjoyed my visit to the Sky Garden. Luckily, on the day that I chose to visit, the sky was clear, and I saw a wonderful view of Mt. Fuji and Tokyo Tower. There are nice seats to relax and take in the view. There is also a cute space to order drinks and small foods from and a cute gift shop. The day I went also had a collab with Doraemon.
If you’re visiting this area (probably for the cup noodle museum, let’s be honest!) then it’s absolutely worth spending less than 1,000Yen to go up the Landmark tower. The lift up is very fast, like scary fast, but the actual 360 observation level is well laid out, and an absolute perk was that there was a nice bar up there selling some good craft beers and sparkling wine cocktails!
We luckily snagged a sofa seat overlooking a cloudy Mt.Fuji side whilst the sun was setting, however the view over the city and waterfront itself is worth the visit regardless.
