What other travelers are saying about Southeast Botanical Gardens
What a cool place during the holiday time. The lights are so colorful and beautiful. I haven't seen anything like it. There are so many designs that it was so eye capturing. I would love to go back another year to see if the designs change or if they stay the same. Just heads up that if you purchase food from the food trucks, you have to have cash. I tried a churro and it was so tasty and fresh. I also tried the fried chicken and curly fries from another food truck and it was actually surprisingly good! I would absolutely go back and tell others about this place.
Fun experience for the show family, night or day. Days and night tickets are different and must be purchased separately. During the day they have a few interactive animal exhibits like Squirrel Monkeys, turtles, capybaras, and donkeys. At night, between Oct - May, the park has an illumination event that is pretty cool.
The lights were amazing, there were so much to see even in such a small area. The coconut trees were making everything come together in the park with a sincere vibe. There’s also a corridor that pretends to be stars, as fake as it sounds, it’s worth staring at it for hours. It’s to the right of the park. And there were ducks waddling in map 12.
had a fun afternoon here! the sun was hot but there was a shop and restaurant to cool down in. the gardens were gorgeous and I had a great time exploring the different parts ! the petting zoo was adorable. you're able to enter and feed the animals. there's also a little stand to buy mosquito repellent. I also had a look at the bug exhibit! really cool beetles to see there too!
It really is a very large botanical garden with many different types of plants, but even though I visited in winter, it still emitted a strong pig manure odor. Inside, there are some small animals such as capybara , but they are covered in many flies. I hope they can take better care of the animals.
