What other travelers are saying about Shiraito Falls

Excellent place. One of the best waterfalls I ever saw. Visited in 13/12/2024. It has some red autumn leaves above the waterfall, but fresh greenery on the land. It felt like the perfect time.
One of the most beautiful places I’ve been to in Japan. It’s most stunning in autumn with the red and yellow leaves and if you’re lucky, there are little rainbows around the falls. There are some stalls where you can buy fresh produce from neighboring farms, and a restaurant where you can eat yakisoba and the regional food, miso oden. We went there on weekdays so there weren’t a lot of tourists.

Beaux Waterfall, one of my favorite within 2 hrs if proximity from Tokyo. Shops are closed on Thursday. Waterfall is in shadow in the afternoon, recommend going in the AM until early afternoon.

Decided to rent a car first the first time in Japan. Quick 30 min drive straight up from Shin Fuji Station. Got there early and there was no one there. Beautiful water fall nothing like the water falls we have in Hawaii.
