Awesome traditional Japanese gardens well worth the entry fee. Make sure you stop and enjoy an included tea or cold drink at the tea house before you leave. Amazing space that was built by an old famous actor. Great views and just a stunning visual experience.

This private garden offers the glimpse of the elite life in ancient Japan. The assets consists of the main dwelling, tea house, worshipping house, and wonderful garden trails. The tea house has great view of the forest. And the main dwelling unit has the spectacular views of the Kyoto city. The entrance fee is 1000 yen per adult. It is worthy as you can avoid the crowds visiting the bamboo forest. In addition, you can taste variety of drinks in the tea house. Probably the most surprising discovery for me in this trip.

Beautiful garden with a gorgeous pathway of nature. 1000¥ for Adults. Not busy at all and the tea room before the exit is so lovely where you can help yourself to refreshing juices and relax in air conditioning. Definitely worth the entry fee.

We went here towards the end of a busy day. We were looking forward to exploring the house and the gardens. The garden was so beautiful and tranquil. The description indicated that we would be able to see the interior of the traditional house, but we were disappointed we were unable to tour a traditional home. The available teas were a nice treat at the end of the tour. Definitely worth the time to get here.

Fabulous gardens spread along a circular route through a natural forest. It’s worth the entry fee for two reasons - the ambience and atmosphere are magnificent, and there is no noisy crowd. Follow the one-way signs along the route, take your time, and enjoy the nature. There are many spots suitable for great pictures and videos. There is also a matcha place and a public toilet.
