What other travelers are saying about Nakano Broadway
A haven for toys collectors. Definitely a must visit since most of the stores here offer something unique that you wouldn't find anywhere else. The stores are spread on 3 floors of huge floor space and you would easily spend a couple of hours at least exploring it. I found several unique gachapon machines here. Some of the stores such as Mandarake provide tax free option if you spend more than ¥5,000. Easily accessible using buses or train from Nakano station.
Floors filled with watches, nostalgia, anime, manga, or whatever else piques your interest. You could easily spend the entire day here. Whether you are searching for a vintage Godzilla figure or a pristine birth year Rolex with its box and papers, this is the place to visit! Dining options include those within the mall as well as outside on Broadway.
A great place that serves as a treasure hunt for people interested in Japanese popular culture: manga, anime, Gunpla, robots, music, trains etc.
When you are tired with shopping, you can also go to the basement level which offers different types of food such as udon and ice cream

If you're serious about finding some obscure stuff, you'll more likely to find it in here than akiba.
The place itself is very chill. Not a lot of tourist. The mandarake is less cramped than their akiba branch. And the selection seems to be a tad better. Tax free reimbursement on the 4th floor.
A must visit place for people who play digimon cyber sleuth
