What a gem!!! Gallery space isn’t huge and is free and has a good run of Spanish art and another more of Japanese art. There are also special exhibitions you have to pay for but needn’t visit if you don’t want to.
There is a good small cafe / restaurant on the first floor with great views. The lunch offerings are good but run out by 1.30.
on the roof is a large area with some sculptures that gives you a free and spectacular view of Nagasaki.
The architecture is worth the trip alone!
lt was one of the nicest art museum l have ever been, highly recommended. You will be amazed with the collection especially in the end! One of the must-see places in #Nagasaki. lt was not allowed to take pictures which you can have a chance to enjoy pure art without any disturbance :) However, l shared some photos from the garden and hallway, enjoy!
Nice Tadeo Ando building with small but intetesting collection of Spanish art. Interiors are also beautiful. If you don't want to visit the museum you can just have coffee in the cafeyatia with a nice view.
The building itself looks great and the scenery on the roof garden is beautiful as well. Did not visit any of the exhibitions as most Japanese museums do not have English description. Didn’t bother to try
