What other travelers are saying about Kobe Harborland
A lovely area for a stroll. This iconic spot in Kobe offers everything from shopping, to restaurants and amusement facilities. It is kid friendly as well. Visitors can also enter the Kobe Port Tower with 1200¥ admission fee. This landmark tower is 108 m high and boasts a panoramic 360-degree view of the Kobe harbor area. The top-floor observation room offers unrivaled views of Kobe's seafront and urban centers amidst the dramatic backdrop of the Rokko mountain range.
When you step out of the Kobe JR line station, you can find the entrance to Kobe harbourland right away. The place is a one stop shopping and entertainment district, or I should call it a mall. It has many food stalls and other shops you can buy from. It also shows you the view of the Kobe sea side. You can see the Kobe Port Tower from this place. Take your time and stroll along the way.
The most beautiful point of Kobe. Quiet , calm and beautiful. There are plenty of attractions nearby this area. A lot of eateries options available. If you have time to spare , I would recommend you go to Concerto Cruise for a sunset or dinner. There is also a seafood buffet restaurant there called Fisherman Village. If you are arriving by train prepare to do a long walk to the harbour front. A lot of Japanese come here during the weekend. This area is attached to Mosaic Mall.
Kobe Harborland has a nice view, plenty of restaurants, shops, have boat rides and a ferris wheel.
We got there by taking the Tokaido-Sanyo JR line from Osaka Station’s Platform 5 to Kobe Station.
Going back from the harbor to the Kobe JR station, we went through walkways on the 2nd floor instead of street level. The JR signs with arrows were at appropriate spots (wall or floor). Such efficiency! Arigato🙇♀️🙇.
