What other travelers are saying about Tsuruma Park

Lovely park with a variety of gardens. We went to see the hydrangea walkway in early June, and it did not disappoint. Lovely blooms along a walkway of about 300 meters. There were a lot of people there taking pictures, but it's not peak season yet and didn't feel crowded. We saw plenty of people with dogs, and there were also playgrounds and plenty of places to sit and relax. The park is clean and feels very safe.

It is a beautiful park which is tastefully adorned with flowers, trees, bonsai with a lovely pond and thematic gardens and plots. Every view is picturesque and weather although warm and slightly cloudy. Great place to visit in Nagoya City!

Beautiful and lively park with impeccably clean restrooms! The pond and fountains provide a wonderful backdrop for a walk or picnic. Very convenient with a subway exit right at the park entrance!

I was in Nagoya for 2 days and one night and decided to visit this park it’s about a 30-minute train ride from the city and the station that you get off is across the road from the park, there were quite a few visitors to the park despite it being a very hot day. I decided to walk the perimeter of the park and watching that I would follow the shade. The park is a nice escape from the bustle of the city, I enjoyed the tranquility of the park and the beds of roses and somewhat dense areas where it nearly felt like walking in the forests. Unfortunately, that time of year some of the settings were without water but it was summer, I enjoyed taking many pictures to view later. The center piece of the park is the fountain, it seems the crows were enjoying the cool water, if you are in the vicinity of this park, it is worth taking a look at, you could lose an hour or so here easily but I do suggest to go in any season other than summer for obvious reasons, follow the walk trails, sit at certain spots where there are stone cubes to sit on as well as the park benches.
