What other travelers are saying about Nagamachi Samurai District
Quaint traditional part of town that wasn’t crowded. There are a few small museums and art shops here. There is limited shade so we came mid-afternoon when it was a little cooler.
Easy to get to via bus or on foot.
Great little samurai district of Japan. It's Not a Super Happening spot BUT does give you a glimpse and feel of the Samurais Life as you walk the neighborhood, especially, if you visit the Samurai House which is the highlight, we felt, of the area. ENJOY!!
A beautiful street to stroll in, check out all of the houses that are open to view in this street, as well as the shops - most of them have gorgeous things to look at to offer.
