シンボルタワーの「通天閣」の周辺に飲食店や土産物店、射的場などの娯楽遊戯場や安くて美味しいB級グルメが集まるジャンジャン横丁、大阪名物の串カツ屋などが点在している。
串カツは「横綱」が有名だが他にも沢山あるため、何軒か梯子するのも楽しいです。
最寄り駅は「恵美須町」「動物園前」「新今宮」が近いです。
