The early morning tour started at 0715 at Kyoto Station. There was great communication before the tour - so we all met on time and in the right place. Ryota san was a wonderful
Guide. He was knowledgeable, obliging, entertaining, fun and very organised. He spoke perfect English and was teaching us some Japanese throughout the day. We saw the sights of Kyoto ahead of the crowds. Ryota san was a very talented photographer and took some fabulous photos of the group and each of us in the bamboo forest and other locations. We were a small group of 4 - a couple and 2 solo travellers. We bonded as a group and had a memorable day together.
Fantastic start to Kyoto
Yoshino made our morning tour delightful. She is very knowledgeable, prepared, and thoughtful. We thoroughly enjoyed getting a jump start on the day, using local transit, and it was worth the early rise to miss the crowds.
