Lovely temple with a beautiful garden. This temple has history going back to 1514 although was moved to its current location in 1714. It is said to have been built by Oda Nobunaga' brother, Oda Nobuyuki, in memory of their father and his remains are said to rest here. The temple itself is showing signs of aging, but the ceiling is painted with lots of beautiful and colourful paintings. The main thing that people often come to see is the green big Buddha statue which is very impressive, but was actually only made in 1987, but it's impressive nevertheless and has an amazing impact. No goshuin and to be honest, not the friendliest people, but impressive.
