Great park and full of lotus flowers. There is also rest room in case you need it and well connected with public transportation. Thoroughly enjoyed and recommend to everyone if you are visiting Japan Tokyo, do visit this beautiful park.
What an amazing place! From its temples to its walking paths and museums, the whole park is simply breathtaking. We visited in April 24, during the cherry blossom period, which made it even more magical. Highly recommended!!! Beautiful!
Spacious, shady garden, full of well-groomed old plants.
We visited when the rain had just stopped, the air was so fresh, clean and relaxing.
A walk through the park with the guitar strains of street guitar players, adds to the romantic atmosphere.
Visit this park and discover a different Tokyo atmosphere.
A giant park with a huge lotus pond, and split in half for another area for people to rent boats. There are a lot of memorials and shrines to visit as well as the Ueno zoo. The other half of the park houses several museums, including the National Museum. Very peaceful and vibrant, and not very crowded in the early morning, though by noon crowds did start to grow.
Decent park in the middle of Tokyo with scattered shrines and temples. The lake has a circular path around it and is great for walk. The entrance has food stalls selling popular Japanese street food.
We visited during cherry bloom and it was beautiful during the evening with all the trees lighting up the full bloom sakuras.
