What other travelers are saying about Tokyo Camii & Turkish Culture Center
As a muslime, im very happy to see a mosque in a non majority muslim country. The mosque is so beautiful and very very clean. I felt so peaceful entering the mosque. Theres a halal convenience store in the mosque.
The mosque is reachable in downtown of Shibuya area, few hundreds meter away from the train station.
The building is quite exclusive, well maintained, and Turkish cultural look.
There are two stairs, both are available for jama'a particularly during Jumah ramadhan, and others festive praying.
Jamaah are also familiar, as moslems are brothers. They may greet Salam each others, bringing such brotherhood feeling.
After Jumah praying, lunch is provided and of course with Turkish tea served for the jemaah.
Really love the place.... And thinking about making another itinerary to visit and pray here.
Worth to visit guys....
Very nice mosque in Tokyo. They do the Khutba in Japanese, Turkish, English and Arabic. The imams voice is very nice and the architecture is beautiful. They have lots of Islamic guides in Japanese
such a nice and comfy mosque in tokyo, the bathroom are nice and clean. i went there during winter and its pretty warm inside the mosque. they also have halal market that also sells halal cakes!
Wudhu and toilet on ground floor. Muslimah prayer area on the 2nd floor. Nice and cosy mosque. Did my jummah prayer. Zuhr time 11.30am but adzan and khutbah only started at 12.45pm. I guess it’s to cater those who could only come during lunchtime. Khutbah in 3 languages - Turkiye, Japanese and English. Nice!!! Oh.. they have a minimart too, on the ground floor.
