What other travelers are saying about Konashidaira Camp Site
Beautiful campsite. We paid 1500 yen per person per night. The tenting is “first come first serve” but we were able to find a spot right along the river. Not a lot of English is spoken but we had a helpful employee explain the food storage, trash, and shower system. The restaurant and convenience shop was enough food. We also could leave our tent up with stuff in it while we did a day hike - the environment is super safe and friendly. Everyone was very respectful and quiet by 9 pm.
Values for my life to come here.
I bring a tent from TH. ⛺️ to here
A daytime temperature was 19-20°c
Feel very comfortable
But in a nice way was 6-9°c I feel very freezing 🥶 can't sleep all nice because I didn't prepare for freezing temperature
Who comes to do a tent ⛺️ here should be prepared for freezing temperature on a night🌙 time .
Spending 3 days 2 nights here both 1 Tent as night and 1 Cabin B Type for 1 person.
As I am a beginner for Tent, this place gave me a good experience and all staffs were really nice. I spent a night and climb Mount Chogatake and went back for another night.
This campgound has everything you needed: Blanket, Sleeping Mat which is really good and make my night so warm, Onsen, Food and everything.
Late May 2024, you will get mixed of weather such as Clear Blue Sky, Mist, and Light Raining which I recommended to stay for 2-3 days to enjoy the peace of nature.
I and my wife stayed at house B-13 in KONASHIdaira
since 1948, JAPAN ALPS KAMIKOCHI on 3-6-2024 and stayed one night till to 4-6-2024. The house we stayed was clean and tidy, the house equipped with hot water system, gas stove with air ventilation and electric -oil heater as well as lighting. The toilet was separated from house. Inside the house , there were clean blanks and japanese style bed set with clean sheets provided you had to cover on the blanks and japnese bed set. According to my wife's friend Hon Ping 's information, the cost of BBQ raw food provided was HK$ 240 per person. It was expensive because the food provided was not marinated, just one kind of meat sauce in plastic container provided, there were vegetables provided in BBQ food. Beef and pork in BBQ were good, they were supposed to be the products from origin of Japan. When the products came from the origin of Japan it should not be expensive, because you were in Japan at this moment.
Great campground ! Easy to access just a short walk from Kappa bridge. Stayed for 2 nights. Super clean and so convenient with the restaurant and supermarket there. I actually thought the warning sign about bear was funny :) Highly recommend.
