One of the pinnacles of the Japan holiday
I strongly recommend this tour! It was really perfect! From the beginning I interfaced with Mercedes to organize a car tour and for her part there was maximum scrupulousness, but also a lot of flexibility. We agreed to do two tours on consecutive days with night in Beppu. So we could do the first day Aso-Takachico and other stops in those surroundings, and the next day Beppu-Yufuin-Dazaifu.
During the tour we were with guide and driver, respectively Kita and Kumiko, both very kind, professional and very prepared. During the tour they made us feel so comfortable that it felt like walking around with friends! The van was very comfortable, the places chosen were all spectacular (no online photo can really make the idea) and among the various agreed stops they also made surprise pit stops based on our personal tastes. The places where we stopped to eat on their advice were equally great. Finally, I highly recommend adding Kyushu to your Japan itinerary, bearing in mind that it is really preferable to think about guided car tours due to the fact that almost no one around spoke English, and that with public transport it would have taken forever to get around, so we would not have been able to see all these places in two days
