11月中早上來，非常靜，沒有遊客。在北野天滿宮和金閣寺的中間，有空可以逛一下。沒時間就不用故意擠，免費的範圍不算大，10-15分鐘內可以逛完。

不用收費的神社離北野天滿宮走路約五分鐘平日沒什麼遊客連販賣部都沒人顧？！後來才看到一位工作人員出現在附近這邊有提供廁所但是沒有很乾淨超小間有蚊蟲在飛

平野神社（ひらのじんじゃ）初建於延曆十三年（794），隨著平安遷都一同落成。起初是為了鎮守平安宮（大內裏）北部的平野而設，故名為平野神社。平安時期香火鼎盛，曾被選為二十二社中的上七社之一。在舉行平野祭時，皇太子都會前來進行供奉。並且與當時日本貴族平氏、源氏都有不小的聯繫。圓融天皇甚至幾次臨幸該社。可惜鎌倉時代時候，平野神社逐漸沒落，一直到十七世紀才重新修建，一直流傳至今。平野神社是京都一賞櫻名所。但可惜社殿曾在平成三十年（2018）被颱風嚴重破壞，多株櫻樹也為強風吹倒。不過現在已慢慢恢復，可放心前往。平野神社不大，但是境內有櫻樹四百餘株，十來分鐘左右便能遊覽完，可以和金閣寺、北野天滿宮一同前往。櫻花季時現在園林部分要收費五百円，個人覺得園林部分的價格是略貴的，不是很推薦。
