Meet-Up & Introduction

Meet your guide In front of Kyoto Kawaramachi Garden Store WORLD MAP (Shijo-dori, Kawaramachi Subway Station). Your guide will give a short introduction, explain the plan for the night, and share some interesting facts about Kyoto’s drinking culture.

Walk Through Kyoto’s Hidden Streets

Duration: 20–30 minutes

Take a stroll through Kyoto’s lesser-known streets and alleys. Your guide will point out unique spots, local landmarks, and hidden gems that most visitors miss.

First Stop: Cocktail Bar Experience

Duration: 40 minutes

Visit an award-winning cocktail bar and enjoy a carefully crafted drink made by a skilled bartender. You’ll also get to try a delicious seasonal dish while learning about Kyoto’s modern cocktail scene.

Second Stop: Whisky & Sake Tasting

Duration: 45 minutes

Step into a stylish whisky and sake bar to sample high-quality Japanese whisky and locally brewed sake. Your guide will explain the history and craftsmanship behind each drink.

Final Stop: Cozy Izakaya for Light Dinner

Duration: 1 hour

End the night at a traditional izakaya, where you’ll enjoy tasty local dishes paired with sake or another drink of your choice. This is the perfect time to relax and soak in the atmosphere of Kyoto’s nightlife.

End Point: Pontocho Area

The tour finishes in Pontocho, a famous nightlife district by the Kamogawa River. You can explore more bars, take a peaceful evening walk, or head back at your own pace.
