Definitely worth a visit if you are walking around Yamate District. Beautiful views of the center of Yokohama, you can refresh yourself with cool drinks in the cafe.
Nice layout. Well-maintained garden. Free access to the house and garden area. Handicap accessible ramps. Café on site with drinks and snacks. Outdoor seating and benches are available for use. Garden has hedges and a fountain area. No parking available on-site, coin-parking sites nearby.
Lovely place with architectural design that helps you travel all the way to Europe. On a sunny day, the gardens invite visitors to walk around at peace and enjoy the beautiful of its place. Going uphill to reach the place might be a bit rough but once there you can enjoy a panoramic view of the city.

Lovely garden with a view that overlooks the town of Yokohama. Entrance is free and you can also go inside the Diplomat’s house. There is also a miniature version of the famous houses in Yamate area.

Nice simple place to relax with a bit of history about Yamate area. On a clear day you can also see Mt. Fuji from the garden. Make sure to spend some time to go inside the diplomat’s house which is open for public viewing.
