The tower also features a souvenir store, where visitors can find a variety of local goods and memorabilia to take home as a keepsake.
With its beautiful views, historical exhibits, and convenient location, the Sapporo TV Tower is a great destination for both tourists and locals. Whether you're exploring Sapporo for the first time or revisiting, it's a wonderful place to visit with friends and family.
Better seen from outside than in, for only 1k yen! It's got the time if you do. Great landmark, looks cool at night. What more do you need?
Shoot it from multiple angles at different times of the day to get the full tourist experience.
Best vantage point is either from the park with the ravine running through it, or the lookout point in the middle of an overhead street crossing.
Ticket here cost 1000yen for splendid view of Sapporo city, easily reasonable price. If you think that’s expensive then you have an issue lol.
Even coming to Hokkaido for second time, I still enjoyed leisure time up here. The view of Sapporo is a balance of city, mountains and nature, all together. Definitely a perfect spot to capture some time-lapse videos.
Staffs here also very lovely along with souvenir shop of Hokkaido’s goods. You may find cute little gift to take home.
What’s not to love about Sapporo TV tower?
It costs 1000¥ for an adult as of Jan 2025. The observation floor isn’t that big but it has a nice view. The windows could have been a little cleaner. The view from the lift was partly blocked by the stairs which was a pity. At night time, it is quite beautiful. There’s a small gift shop on the observation floor and a bigger one on the ticketing floor.
The tower gives a great view especially during sunset. The snow gives a vibrant and calming effect though also exudes a lonely feeling if you’re alone.
