Actually, I went to Nihondaira last year, on December 30, 2024.
There are so many parking space so you don't have to worry about it.
The place was really beautiful with a full landscape view of Mount Fuji.
There are also gift shops, matcha ice cream and taiyaki stalls, and restaurant.
Ropeway was available uphill if you want to experience it, but it was quite expensive.
For the route, if you arrive at Shizuoka Station, go to the bus stop No. 11 bound for Nihondaira Terrace. You also can use your IC card. The trip was about 1 hour and you will directly arrive at Nihondaira.

Great place to get a view of fuji. The terrace is has a spectacular view of Fuji on one side while the other side has a panoramic view of Shizuoka city, all this while enjoying a view while sipping tea inside. If you come by bus, the last one departs at 17:30, after that it's taxi only.

I saw two big parking lots, both are free.

Beautiful place, good place for healing and see Fuji-san, also we can visit the shrine by take Nihondaira ropeway. You can use bus no.14 from Shizuoka station to Nihondaira, which cost only 700 yen.

Great views from a well-designed observation deck. Take the ropeway from here to Kunozan Toshogu.
